Oh my goodness, has it really been over a year since I last posted? I keep getting nudged by Auntie Karen so I thought I'd better write something!

Well, I am all grown up now and pleased to report that I am now bigger than Alfie and am also the boss. The reason I haven't written in such a long time is that I have been on watch! Yes, I am on watch all of the time, even whilst writing this I am looking over my ears.

Alfie is useless, he's never on watch, all he does is laze around, and he doesn't seem to care about the 2foots getting near him - in fact he seems to like it. I've been watching him lately too, and I've seen how he acts all cute in front of them, cleaning his ears and licking his paws, binkying and even begging for food - he even licks them! Well, you won't catch me doing that. I might let them stroke me occasionally but I'm much too busy watching to be cute.

Mummy has been trying to put us in the garden lately because it is nice and warm. As you would expect, Alfie just sits there and makes no attempt to run away from her - but I like to be more of a challenge, I've perfected the art of waiting until she gets near me and then bolting through her legs up the other end of the kitchen, then Daddy joins in too and I run between both of them and back to the hall - it's such fun, I can keep going for hours! Hiding under the table provides me with much amusement too, they pull a chair out to get me, I run to the other side, they go round that side, I run to the other, honestly, 2foots are so stupid! Although, it is really nice in the garden........

Anyway, I'd better get back on watch now. I've left Alfie downstairs and no doubt he'll be paying no attention to anything. Now, if I can just work out what I'm watching for.

Hi everybun. Sorry its been such a long time since I've posted but daddy is always on the computer.

Well, Alfie and I had a lovely holiday at the bunny hotel. I spent the week eating and mummy was surprised by how much I'd grown when she picked us up - I'm nearly as big as Alfie now, but not quite. I'm also pleased to report that he no longer feels the need to keep jumping on me. In fact, I've got him very well trained now - wait for him to sit still then shove my head under his chin and hey presto - he licks.

A couple of things puzzle me though. First of all, I thought my name was Evie but it seems that's changed and I'm now called Little Madame. Why? Secondly, why does Alfie like the two- foots so much? I mean, there he is one moment licking me on demand, the next he's run off to lick them. Honestly! Ok, so I don't lick him back as much as he licks me but I'll give him a couple of licks once every week or so - and I'm so beautiful. Maybe he just needs more training?

Holiday

I am so egg-sited. Tomorrow Alfie and I are going to the bunny hotel in Hereford. Mummy and daddy are going on a metal box that flies in the sky and they won't be back for a week. I don't know if I will get any sleep tonight, I can't stop charging around the pen and have been binkying all day. Alfie has been to the hotel a couple of times before and he tells me the people there are lovely and they really spoil him. Sadly, I overheard mummy saying that she must remember to tell the lady at the hotel not to give me anything to eat other than my mix, thump! Ooh quick, daddy is coming up the stairs and I am supposed to be packing my litter tray. See you when we get back.

Here at last

Hello everybun. My name is Evie and I am the great grand-daughter of Dame Maddie CBE. I was born on 10 February 2008. My granny is Inga and my mummy and daddy are Doris and Einstein. I lived at Burrow Court until I was adopted on Sunday 23 March 2008 by 2 and a half 2 foots. My adoption day was very eventful, my new mummy and the half 2foot sat in a car on Auntie Karen's drive for nearly 4 hours with something called a flat battery - but I was worth the wait (and Auntie Karen was very kind to them - she even gave them chocolate biscuits).

I now live near Kington in Herefordshire with my new best friend Alfie. Alfie tells me he was also born at Burrow Court, his mummy and daddy were Iona and Jeremiah and he was born on 18 February 2007. Alfie loves me very much but he does keep sitting on my head (I will get my own back when I am bigger) and he steals all my food.
